Fusion
FUSION our maiden event was held on the 27th of December, 2006 at Fantasyland, Ikoyi, Lagos.. It was an event that showcased up and coming fashion designers, musicians, dancers and the current headliners in Nigerian music and comedy. The proceeds of the event went to a well known NGO, (WHED), The Women’s Health, Education and Development organization to be used in their work of education and providing information on AIDS/HIV/STI awareness, prevention and control, research in AIDS/HIV development and women empowerment, rights, networking and coalition development.
Fusion was recognized and supported locally and across Nigeria. We were featured on MTV Base Africa, Silverbird TV and NTA. We were also in Genevieve magazine, True Love, AfriZone Magazine and local newspapers. AIPA is currently featured in the Corona School Trust Councils 2008 calendar in recognition of our efforts among youths.
